Adagio grass (Miscanthus sinensis ‘Adagio’) is a compact, ornamental maiden grass known for its fine-textured, arching foliage and graceful plumes. In late summer to early fall, it produces feathery, pinkish-tan plumes that age to a silvery hue, adding year-round interest.

Dwarf Hamlen Grass
Dwarf Hameln grass is a compact, ornamental grass that features narrow, arching green leaves that turn golden-yellow or bronze in the fall, at which time it produces fluffy, soft flower spikes that are pinkish or silvery in color. Dwarf Hameln is a popular choice for borders, containers, or mass plantings, and is drought tolerant once established.

Giant Liriope
Giant Liriope is an evergreen grass known for its large, dense, evergreen foliage. Unlike it’s smaller cousins like Big Blue, Giant does not spread like a ground cover, but grows in clumps. It’s also extremely drought tolerant.

Miscanthus Grass
Miscanthus grass (also called Maiden Grass) is an excellent choice for landscaping in South Louisiana due to its adaptability to warm, humid climates and its low maintenance needs. This ornamental grass features tall, arching foliage with feathery plumes that add texture and movement to gardens, and also sports golden fall colors and attractive seed heads.

Monkey Grass
Monkey grass is a hardy, evergreen ground cover ideal for landscaping in South Louisiana. It is drought-tolerant, and although it can grow in both sun and shade, we prefer it in shade because it will have less weeds. It works great as an alternative to traditional lawns in shaded areas, and features full, thin foliage that spreads and fills in over time.

Muhly Grass
