Dwarf Hamlen Grass

Dwarf Hameln grass is a compact, ornamental grass that features narrow, arching green leaves that turn golden-yellow or bronze in the fall, at which time it produces fluffy, soft flower spikes that are pinkish or silvery in color. Dwarf Hameln is a popular choice for borders, containers, or mass plantings, and is drought tolerant once established.

Giant Liriope

Giant Liriope is an evergreen grass known for its large, dense, evergreen foliage. Miscanthus grass (also called Maiden Grass) is an excellent choice for landscaping in South Louisiana due to its adaptability to warm, humid climates and its low maintenance needs. This ornamental grass features tall, arching foliage with feathery plumes that add texture and movement to gardens, and also sports golden fall colors and attractive seed heads.

Monkey grass is a hardy, evergreen ground cover ideal for landscaping in South Louisiana. It is drought-tolerant, and although it can grow in both sun and shade, we prefer it in shade because it will have less weeds.
